At what age should I be concerned about protecting my assets against nursing home costs?

At what age should I be concerned about protecting my assets against nursing home costs?  It is never too soon. Any of us could end up in a nursing home tomorrow due to an accident or illness. Once that occurs, the ability to protect your assets is very limited. In addition, you can be sued any time as the result of an accident if a court finds you are at fault; if that occurs, your assets could also be at risk. It is best to consult with an experienced Elderlaw attorney before such misfortune arises.
