When it comes to drafting a will or trust, always remember to state specifically who will have access to your “digital assets”. This includes a person that will have custody and control over all online accounts, and that person or persons need to know your passwords and, when necessary, account numbers. Make sure the person or persons viewpoint know where to find this information if something happens to you. Digital assets can represent the majority of your wealth. They should be taken care of very specifically and carefully.
