Who should be the Executor of your estate? This deserves careful thought, since that individual often has broad discretion in such matters as who receives the household goods which you leave behind. Should he/she be a family member? Not always, since resentment often arises in the ones who are not chosen for that job. This should be thoroughly discussed with your estate planning attorney.
