How often should my estate plan be reviewed? I have always described an estate plan as “work in progress.” Life changes – our children change, the law changes, our attitudes about charities may change. As a result, your estate plan should be reviewed regularly; in my opinion, at least every 3 years. Put the date on your calendar…pick your anniversary, birthday or a holiday, and make the commitment to review your plan with your estate planning attorney.
