Q & A Tuesday – August 18, 2020

August 18, 2020 by Laura Easton

Question- If I move to Ohio from another state, do my will or trust need to be changed?

Answer- Wills and trusts are controlled by state law. Therefore, if you move to Ohio from another state, it is best to at least have an Ohio estate planning attorney review your documents to make certain that the peculiarities of the other state, or Ohio, do not cause problems when you pass away.
